Cultivation

"Just as grape growers keep watch for the moment of peak ripeness, cannabis farmers have for generations monitored the color of the bud’s trichomes, an aromatic crystal resin that transforms from clear to milky white, then gold to amber.

For many, the signs are there. It’s time to bring the crops in.

The outdoor cannabis harvest has begun across the North Coast, the first year when the state will attempt to measure and tax the crop within a new regulated system."

Civil Rights

"Loevy & Loevy has won more multi-million dollar jury verdicts over the past decade than any other civil rights law firm in the country. As one of the nation’s largest and most successful civil rights law firms, we are dedicated to seeking justice for people whose civil rights have been violated, and for whistleblowers."

Community Leadership

"A group of 20 Sonoma County residents — some well-known, others who’ve rarely (if ever) seen the limelight — have been chosen to represent a wide swath of interests in the local green rush.

Working with County Supervisors, the Sonoma County Cannabis Advisory Group was recently formed to provide “a diverse perspective on the impacts of cannabis and cannabis regulations and to provide information and feedback to the County for developing, amending, and funding local cannabis programs and policies.”
